This policy describes how Kerek Mail Sorter, a private tool operated by the owner of kerek.nl, handles data obtained through Google APIs.
The tool is used only by the owner of kerek.nl and members of the owner's household. Each person connects only their own Google account, after giving their own consent on Google's sign-in screen. Every connected account is processed separately; data from one mailbox is never combined with or shown in another. The tool is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
For each connected account, the tool uses the Gmail API to access that account's own messages (headers, sender, subject and content) and labels.

The data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
Data is processed on a private server within the European Union. Access credentials are stored encrypted. Processing logs, which may contain message metadata, are deleted automatically after at most 7 days. To avoid repeated requests, the tool keeps a short list of senders it has recently unsubscribed from; this list contains sender addresses only, no message content.
Data obtained from Google APIs is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party. The only outgoing communication is an unsubscribe request, sent directly to the unsubscribe address that the sender itself included in its message.
The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Each account holder can revoke access at any time in their Google Account settings under Third-party apps & services. After revocation the tool can no longer access that account. On request, any remaining data relating to the account is deleted.
